Wrap a soft tape measure around the base of your dog's neck, where the collar will sit. You should be able to fit two fingers between the tape and your dog's neck. That's the sweet spot for a comfortable but secure fit. Collars are great for everyday wear, ID tags, and dogs that walk politely on the lead. For training, pulling, or any dog that lunges, we recommend a harness as it's safer for your dog's neck and gives you better control. Many dogs wear both: collar at home with ID tags, harness on walks.
Yes. Each collar has a sturdy D-ring designed for both ID tags and lead attachment. The hardware is rated for active wear, so you can clip a lead directly to the D-ring with confidence.
We recommend hand washing only with warm water and a small amount of dog-safe shampoo. Avoid bleach, tumble dryers, or irons. Hang to dry in a well ventilated space.
