Measure the circumference of your dog's chest at its widest point (just behind the front legs), and the lower neck. Compare those measurements to our sizing chart. If you're not sure on sizing just send us a photo of your dog along with their measurements and we'll help you get the perfect fit.
Strap harnesses (the H-shape across the chest) put pressure on the front of your dog's shoulders, restricting natural movement. Y-shaped harnesses sit lower on the chest, leaving the shoulders free and distributing pressure evenly across the sternum. No rubbing, no movement restriction, and no risk to the airway when your dog pulls.
The front-clip attachment point on our harnesses gently redirects your dog when they pull, making it harder for them to surge forward. Combined with consistent training, most owners see real progress within a few weeks. For dogs with established pulling habits, pair the harness with a short lead and reward-based training for best results.
We recommend hand washing only with warm water and a small amount of dog-safe shampoo if required. Avoid bleach, tumble dryers, or irons. Hang to dry in a well-ventilated space.

I can’t believe that the front clip actually does stop her from pulling me! She’s a crazy puller, every walk used to be stressful. Now I can walk her on side walks and know that she’s safe.
Previously to this we had the Julius K9 harness looks lovely on but I was not happy the way it fitted across the shoulders restricting my dogs movement and I’m afraid this could cause damage to his joints. The Pawshtails harness fits lovely looks very smart and has no restriction to their movement. Very happy love the colours as well, stands out from the crowd. The matching set is gorgeous and very happy with the customer service. Highly recommend.

Amazing quality for my 11 month old Vizsla. A lot of other harnesses I’ve bought open up so easily where as this one is really tough and once you’ve set it to the right adjusment it stays! I think it will also grow with her as it has quite a big adjusment give. I highly recommend this harness!

My dog pulls a lot, especially when he see’s other dogs. The loop at the front has been a great way to train him to not pull as much. I paired this with the rope climbing lead and its a great set. Very happy with both of them.
This is a very high quality material used for the harness I brought very pleased indeed, I did however buy the wrong size but after emailing the owners they were fantastic, accommodating what I needed and even pooch got a yak snack treat that didn’t last long ?. I would highly recommend this company couldn’t fault the communication and helpfulness.

The colour of this harness is stunning. I bought the matching collar and lead my cocker looks incredibly smart when we are out on our walks.
I absolutely love this harness for my labrador the khaki colour really suits him.
The harness is padded for comfort but also quite strong too. I can see it lasting a long time apart from the stickers on the buckles but thats only cosmetic, I have pulled them off and the harness still looks great.

This is a really well made, strong, sturdy harness which is perfect for outdoor adventures but also looks great for everyday use.
My collie usually hates wearing a harness but likes this one. I think the fitting is perfect because it’s snug in all the right places and doesn’t restrict his movement, so he’s a lot more comfortable in it.
We have a husky, the handle is very good for controlling her when she gets a bit bouncy! It’s fits in the right place and it definitely pulls less than any other ‘no pull’ harness we have tried. Great product, would love to see more colours down the line.

I have this harness in black, khaki and pink and I absolutley love every single one. The only think I would say is the labels on the buckles have come off but its no biggie as they haven’t left a mark. Nice to have them in photos to show off the brand but otherwise they are perfect.

Well made harness! Padded, sturdy, easy to put on and adjust with quick-release clips to slide the harness over her head and two solid D-ring locations to clip to – one on the top between the shoulder blades and one on the bottom on is chest.

I am a hardcore Ruffwear fan, so this harness had a lot to live up to and honestly I can’t fault it! I have it in 3 colours and they are all great, they wash well, all the clips and all the attachments are still intact 9months down the line. I highly recommend Pawshtails harnesses.

I bought this for my reactive dog, we opted for the climbing rope lead as we wanted something strong. I like that it comes with the handle on top which makes it easy to control him when he becomes reactive around another dog or person. I feel confident that this harness will hold up well.
